Perusahaan perangkat seluler asal China, Xiaomi, memperbarui firmware untuk memperbaiki kinerja dan masalah panas (overheating) pada smartphone Mi 4i. Firmware baru itu memiliki nomor versi V6.5.4.0 LXIMICD.

�Kami telah mendengar dari beberapa pengguna Mi 4i di beberapa negara bahwa mereka mendapati smartphone tersebut menjadi panas saat digunakan bermain game 3D dan aplikasi Benchmark,� tulis Xiaomi seperti dikutip Phonesreview, Senin (25/5/2015).

Perusahaan juga menyatakan, untuk mengatasi masalah ini, Xioami menambahkan algoritma baru yang dikenal dengan thermal control. Nantinya, kontrol termal terbaru itu akan mengatur penyesuaian frekuensi, tegangan dan jumlah core yang digunakan bergantung pada temperatur chip.

Firmware V6.5.4.0 LXIMICD memiliki bobot mencapai 804 MB. Pengguna dapat mendownload-nya melalui mekanisme OTA (over the air).

How to Update Xiaomi Mi 4i to MIUI v6.5.5.0 Manually

1. Download the MIUI 6 V6.5.5.0 (LXIMICD) firmware for Mi4i [HERE]
2. Transfer the downloaded ROM zip file to your phone�s internal storage
3. Now, launch the �Updater� app on your Mi 4i. Tap the setting icon (3 dots) at the top-right corner, select �Choose update package�, and choose the ROM zip file you have just saved on your phone.
4. The flashing process will start and this will take some time to finish.
5. Once the installation process is completed, your phone will restart automatically.
