Supergirl Show 218 Ace Reporter Preview I always wonder just how networks decide when they are going to take a break between episodes. Like why is Supergirl taking a 3 week break now? Last episode was one of the best and momentum is gathering. So why hit the brake? I would have taken the break after the episode before, when Kara broke up with Mon-El. Take three weeks off then and you might give the vibe that the break-up was longer than a mere 23.5 hours. I know, you would need to coordinate with the Flash musical episode. But this seemed like an odd choice. Anyways, I was pretty disappointed last Monday when there was no new episode. So I had to bide my time by looking at the trailer for episode 218, the next episode in the queue. Supergirl Show Statue The Shriner get a big edition recently when the Supergirl statue I ordered a while back finally came in. And I literally mean big. This is a giant statue! And it is gorgeous. It actually all started with the box. This is a very clean reason patient of this statue, with an upper close lock at a very solid sculpture depicting Melissa Benoist as Kara. The site of the box also does a fine job show casing some of the detailed work of hair, and giving us a close-up of the statue at an angle. But obviously the statue is the draw here. It is a simple but great sculpt of Supergirl in a very iconic heroic progress, elbows bent and hands on the hips. The costume itself is very well done with the textured luck of the shirt with the red piping that we see in the show. An there are grade folds and wrinkles in the skirt and in the boots. What I find most interesting is the expression of Supergirls face. She has a somewhat pensive look on her face and she looks into the distance....

Supergirl Show Episode 218 Ace Reporter Supergirl episode 218, title Ace Reporter, aired this week and was a very Kara-centric episode, something which has been a bit lacking recently. We see a lot of Kara Danvers and a little bit of Supergirl. And for me, someone who loves complex characters with some depth, this was phenomenal. Yes, we have a mega-arc going on with Cadmus and Daxam. And yes, those are important. But I watch the show for Supergirl.So I was thrilled about this. The title Ace Reporter is an appropriate one since the search for truth is a key part of the plot. And one of the things that I have noticed this season is that Supergirl is feeling good about herself lately. She has a swagger that makes me worry that she is heading for a fall. This story also played on that a bit. But, in some ways, this was just as much a Lena episode as it was a Kara one. Lena has been sort of on the periphery of the show. General Zod On The Supergirl Show The news hit the internet last week that General Zod has been cast for the Supergirl finale and that Mark Gibbon has been cast. Would Zod be a Superman villain fighting Supergirl? Would there be room for another villain in a show which already has Cadmus and Queen Rhea?? And why take time away from a Supergirl show with someone clearly more associated with Kal? But I think there is a simple answer. I think his role is going to be little more than a cameo. Supergirl Show SDCC Trailer And News Last weekend was the San Diego Comic Con and most of the Supergirl news revolved around the upcoming third season of the show. Search YouTube or Twitter and youll get snippets of the many interviews and panels the cast did. The big release for me was the sizzle trailer for the third season. We hear in a voice over say: The decision I made, he couldn�t have made that sacrifice. But me, I couldn�t have lived with myself if I hadn�t. I will always make the decision I made. I am not a human. I tried to be but I�m not. Kara Danvers was a mistake. It is clear that Kara is grieving over losing Mon-El, a decision she made.
